MMoCCA
Mandalika Museum of Contemporary & Crafted Arts
A modern museum experience, bringing contemporary and traditional crafted art together in Mataram.
The Project
A Modern Museum Experience for Mataram
MMoCCA — the Mandalika Museum of Contemporary & Crafted Arts — is a future development project from Karias, bringing a modern museum experience to Mataram. It is conceived as a meeting point between contemporary art and crafted, traditional work: a single institution built to hold both in the same rooms, rather than treating one as fine art and the other as craft.
As a future-development project, MMoCCA does not yet have a confirmed site, opening date, or programme. [SUPPLY: site, timeline, funding structure and planned programme]
